THRACE, Philippopolis. Antoninus Pius. AD 138-161. Æ (30mm, 20.08 g, 6h). Laureate head right / Tyche, wearing kalathos, standing left, holding patera and long scepter between two river-gods, Hebrus and Ardus(?), reclining on rocks from which water flows and holding reeds. Varbanov, Philippopolis VI.35.2.2 (this coin); Mouchmov, Philippopolis –; RPC IV.1 –; Varbanov 753 (this coin). Brown patina, light roughness. VF. Extremely rare, two known to Varbanov.
